Hi powerful breathers!


I have a question to toss around…. I have always enjoy exhaling through my nose during my personal breath work practice and in cruising a yoga class.( other than a lions breath or such). I’m wondering aB

out the mouth exhales within these breaths and how everyone feels with them. Benefits, feelings noticed over nasal exhales?

Hi Meg,

This is wonderful. You have a lot more control with nostril breathing, which also allows you to build more heat in the body. I think as a yoga instructor, and someone who has a lot going on, it's not a surprise the nostril breathing comes more intuitively for you. It will be fun to explore both during our In person segment this weekend. What's beautiful Is, your preference can guide the way to your daily practice. The mouth exhales are really wonderful to expel toxins and stagnant energy, so it might be fun to kick of with those big exhales and transition into a nostril breathing practice. Our weLull Breath can also be modified to nostril breathing as well as the inhales with weRelease. We'll dive deeper this weekend.
