Close the Laptop: 10-Minute Reset

If you're revisiting the meditation, start at 1:20 to skip the intro.

I also sent a copy to your inbox, so you can come back to it anytime. (If it's not there in a few minutes, peek in your promotions or spam folder and drag it to your main inbox so you don't miss the next ones.)

Natasha standing in soft window light with one hand on her heart and one on her belly, smiling as she breathes.

A few tips:

  • Try it right after you close your laptop for the day, before dinner or your evening plans.
  • Headphones help, but they're not required.
  • Sit or lie down somewhere comfortable. Never listen while driving.

Please read before you practice: This practice is gentle and uses no breath holds or fast breathing. Even so, please skip breathwork, or check with your doctor first, if you're pregnant or have a heart condition, high or low blood pressure, epilepsy, a history of fainting, or any condition affected by breathing changes. Breathe at your own pace. If you feel dizzy, lightheaded or uncomfortable at any point, stop and go back to your normal breath. Don't listen while driving. This is a wellbeing practice, not medical or mental health care.

Want to go deeper? This practice uses two of the calming breaths I teach in my online Breathwork Toolkit: 18 techniques for self-control and emotion regulation, the science behind each one, and 30 Yoga Alliance continuing education hours. It's self-paced, $222, one payment.
