THE WEBREATHE BREATHWORK TOOLKIT · SELF-PACED ONLINE
Calm, cool, or energize any nervous system in minutes, then teach it with confidence.
18 science-backed breathwork techniques for self-control and emotion regulation, taught by Columbia-trained psychologist-educator Natasha Baillères, M.A., M.Ed. Includes 30 Yoga Alliance CE hours, a customizable lesson plan, and lifetime access.
You already know breath matters. What's missing is knowing exactly which practice to use, when, and why it works, so you can stop guessing and start guiding.
The Breathwork Toolkit gives you three families of practice: techniques that cool the system (anger, irritability, recovery), calm it (anxiety, sleep, focus), and activate it (energy, motivation, brain rewiring). Each one comes with the anatomy, physiology and research behind it, plus the exact cues to teach it safely to students, clients or yourself.

Overview
What's inside the Breathwork Toolkit
Science-backed. Spirit-led.
Every practice in the Toolkit is grounded in research on how breathing shapes the nervous system, and taught with the heart of a ceremony.
- A 2023 Stanford randomized trial found that 5 minutes a day of exhale-focused "cyclic sighing" improved mood and reduced breathing rate more than mindfulness meditation (Balban et al., Cell Reports Medicine).
- A systematic review of slow-breathing techniques links them to increased heart-rate variability and greater relaxation and alertness (Zaccaro et al., 2018, Frontiers in Human Neuroscience).
- Nasal breathing syncs with activity in the brain's emotion and memory centers (Zelano et al., 2016, Journal of Neuroscience).
You'll learn the anatomy and physiology behind each one, so you can explain it to a skeptical client and feel it in your own body.
"Natasha's guidance is both educational, spiritual, and centering. She has an exceptional ability to create a safe, sacred, and nurturing environment. Her expertise in the science and practice of breathwork is evident, and the techniques I have learned in her sessions have been helpful in my everyday life."
— Dr. Ami Kunimura, weBreathe Experiences
"Her WeBreathe practices have greatly influenced and enhanced my own personal practice, as well as my teaching as a Yin and Reiki practitioner."

Meet your teacher
I'm Natasha Baillères, M.A., M.Ed., founder of weBreathe and creator of the Conscious Expansion Breathwork Method®. I hold an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University's Spirit Mind Body Institute and an M.Ed. in Psychology from Pepperdine.
Before breathwork, I worked in media with the NFL and Snap. In 2019, during my first year at Columbia, I lost my brother, my best friend. Breath, alongside therapy, is what helped me move through that grief and come back to myself. I wrote about that journey in my book, Please Don't Go.
Today I lead breathwork experiences in Austin and Los Angeles, weaving science with sound, Reiki and ceremony. I built the Breathwork Toolkit so you can have the same tools, and the understanding of why they work.
Safety and credentials
Safety comes first in the course. Changing your breath on purpose can shift how you feel quickly, so the first lesson covers safety considerations, including health conditions where some practices aren't a good fit. You learn which techniques are gentle enough for almost any setting and which ones call for more care.
What your certificate means. Breathwork isn't a licensed profession, so I'm direct about what you earn here. You receive a certificate of completion, 30 Yoga Alliance continuing education hours, and eligibility to register with the International Breathwork Foundation. The course doesn't qualify anyone to provide therapy or medical care.

Can I teach breathwork after this?
Yes. The course is built for people who guide others. You finish with a customizable lesson plan, a clear understanding of when to use each technique, and eligibility to register as a breathwork facilitator with the International Breathwork Foundation (IBF charges its own yearly fee). If you want to lead deep, altered-state group sessions, plan on in-depth training after this. Every weBreathe facilitator who leads that kind of work is CPR certified and trained in psychological integration.
How is this different from Conscious Expansion Breathwork?
Breathwork for Self-Control and Emotion Regulation uses both slow and faster techniques, so you can reach and move through different emotional states. Some cool and calm the system, and others energize and help you process. You stay in charge of the breath the whole time. You can use it before a hard conversation, when you can't sleep, or when you need a lift. Conscious Expansion Breathwork® is my signature method for deeper sessions. It uses heightened, dream-like breathing patterns with sound frequency headsets and Reiki, followed by psychological integration. Clients have described it as "out of body" and "years of healing in a flash." This course teaches the regulation techniques in depth and introduces the Conscious Expansion foundations. Leading full Conscious Expansion sessions is taught in the facilitator training.
How much does it cost?
$222 one payment, or 2 monthly payments of $119. That includes lifetime access, 30 YA CE hours and your certificate.
Is breathwork safe for everyone?
No, and any good training should say so. Some breathing practices aren't a fit for certain health conditions, which is why the course opens with safety considerations before you learn a single technique. The calming and cooling practices are gentle. The processing and Conscious Expansion practices are more intense, and I teach you when to use them and when to choose something softer. Breathwork is a wellbeing practice and doesn't replace therapy or medical care, so check with your doctor first if you have a health condition.
Come with an open mind and leave with tools you can trust.
