Catching up on the previous week... :)

I really loved all the breathwork practices, but especially the hummingbee breath !! I felt it deeply in my sacral, throat and 3rd eye. I used to really struggle with insomnia so I feel like I'm giving my past Self the awareness, love and science-backed tools I wish I had back then through the timeline. 💜

For the right nostril breathing, I found myself quite nauseous afterwards! It was wild. I felt like I was processing a lot of the stress and toxins from these last few weeks with the fires, too... thankful for a sacred practice to heal and let go within.

For the left nostril breathing, I felt totally different sensations! Definitely more parasympathetic activation, and a cooling + calmness with a gentle expansive ease.

For alternate nostril breathing, I really appreciated the flow and depth, like my thinking mind floated away and I could just surrender to the practice.

I couldn't fully do the Vishnu Mudra (my fingers had trouble bending for some reason!) so I want to confirm in-person the correct fingers to use as I know it's connected with certain parts of the body, the flow of prana, etc. :)

Sidenote: Natasha, I appreciate all the written descriptions and demonstrations -- I feel like all parts of my learning capabilities get activated which is really helpful!

I ditto Meg - it's a relief and a gift to let go and be GUIDED. ✨

I am so happy to read your research on your self practice. This is such profound self knowledge that will assist you when caring for others as well. It will be interesting to revisit these practices during different periods of time and emotional states. Wonderful Sera.

& certainly! It's the balancing gesture of our universal life force. A personal share: I prefer putting my pointer and index finger on my forehead and using my pinky and thumb for the movements. This is an alternative method I picked up In one of my first yoga classes. It feels less straining for me, to let the ring finger hang loose, and the points of activations are still there. Adding the additional touch to the third eye/intuitive space helps my focus. Heres an invitation to try It out and let me know how you get on with it :) You can see a visual of this demonstrated In the video demo for Nadi shodhana
