2/8 integration
Still feeling on high and very much integrating after last weekend's epic immersion. Thank you all so much for the love, healing, transcendance and magic !! ✨
Also, thank you Natasha for not only sharing an outline of the script/blueprint for an entire session but also including the cues !!! 🎶 AHHHHH so grateful!! It's so very helpful and I can't wait to print it out lol :) ... Also, the emojis are so on-point! I will weave in a few of these cues into my lesson plan, just as something to lean on and also steer transitions, ground in the moment, etc.
I just have a few questions that came up this week:
1) I did a mini-session with my husband Akmal and during the weRelease he had a loooot of tension in his face/mouth (not just limited to tetany) and stopped a lot to recalibrate, come back to centre and then go back into the breath... I know a 1:1 session is different than let's say a group scenario, where I can stay attuned to his rhythm, but if I were facilitating a group, would I encourage him in his own process to find his own pace with weRelease while keeping the overall "faster" pace of weRelease for the group OR would it be better to suggest a different breath for him like weBreathe, weLull and/or weRelease, just the modified version, 1 breath in thru the mouth and exhale thru the mouth? Thank you thank you!
2) Kinda random... does weBreathe always have to have a slow, parasympathetic pace or overtime can it be sped up for experimentation (like use that same breath pattern in thru the nose, out thru the mouth to activate a sympathetic state, kinda like Wim Hof?).. Just curious.
3) I looooved the practice sesh this week doing wePurge 20 rounds with 3x weBreathe in-between. Question about bandhas in that mini-practice: do you suggest using them or making the whole sequence fluid then one top hold at the end? Each round I moved right from wePurge into weBreathe and after the 3rd diaphragmatic breath, I did a bahya kumbhaka which felt super good and natural! Then on the final 3rd breath of weBreathe at the end of the cycle, I did antar khumbaka which felt really good too.
Ok I'm done lol :). I understand it might be easier to answer these Q's on our call tomorrow!! Talk soon! 💜
Wonderful questions !! I appreciate each one.
Let me know if we didn’t cover any of this on our call. Xox
Always cue and use weBreathe as our home base for breathers to come home to. If you want to do just one in and one out, cue it as modified weRelease. We always want weBreathe to be a safe space to come home to.
